What we collect. On registration — email, name and an optional contact; on posting a board request — the requester's contact; on subscribing — email; on an early-access request for a service under demand testing (/try/… pages) — email and your answer on how you handle the task now, used only to tell you about the launch and arrange a call. Passwords are stored as PBKDF2 hashes, never in plain text. To count daily visitors we keep only an anonymous hash that cannot be turned back into an IP address and changes every day.

How we use it. Subscription emails — only for the new-ideas digest. Requester contacts are not published and are shared with responding builders via the moderator. Contacts of builders who claim an idea are visible to logged-in users — the form says so. Data is never sold or shared with third parties.

Analytics. We count anonymous pageviews (path + date) without tracking cookies, third-party scripts, or IP collection.

Catalog sources. Pain evidence quotes public discussions (Reddit, Hacker News) with links to the original; author names are not collected.

Data removal. Contact us and we will delete your account, subscription, or request.
